Measure Up In The Kitchen

E-mail this product to a friend

You asked us for an up-to-date video showing how to measure dry and liquid ingredients for cooking. Teachers told us, "my current audiovisual looks like it was made on the set of Ozzie and Harriet."

We accepted the challenge and made a creative video featuring a mime who makes Lucille Ball look like Martha Stewart. She teaches all the basics of kitchen measuring, but with a few mishaps along the way.

Learn:
- How dry and liquid measures differ.
- What every cook needs to preform basic measurements.
- Why a cup is not always a cup nor any spoon a measuring device.
- Why the right measuring tools are crucial to cooking success.
- How to measure solids that seem to defy fitting into spoons and cups.
- How to take temperature of food.

18 minutes.
